We have in common use a size of copper tubing used on water lines, drains, etc.,
but never used in connection with refrigerants.
This is called the nominal size of copper tubing. It is available in both soft and hard-drawn grades. Fig. 2-2 gives a table of commonly used sizes and wall thicknesses in this tubing
